🗞Report of the meeting held today (13/10/2017) @Kobo Hall between the management and landlords/landladies' of LapaiTown!!!
🗣 In order to ensure security of Students and prioritising Students' welfarism, the SUG President, Comr Mahmud Abubakar Sokun along side Dean, students' Affairs, Dr A. I. Ma'ali has presided over a meeting of Landlords/Landladies' Forum at Kobo Hall today in order to present and find solutions to problems that 'Off Campus' students are facing in their various lodges.
👉🏾 The meeting proceeds thus:
▶ Security of life and properties
▶ Review in house rents downwards
▶ Installation of Students' Villa Transformer 
▶ Landlords/Landladies - management - students rapport.
✅ On security, it was agreed that the Landlords/Landladies in partnership with schools security will partner to put down modalities in order to combat the incessant bugling of student houses and also protect the landed materials within their reach e.g Light Transformer etc. Also, the security of life 24/7 will be ensured.
✅ House rent: The Dean pleaded with the landlords/landladies, considering the economic hardship in the country to review the rent downwards. ✔The Landlords/landladies reason with the dean and assured that they are going to put heads together in order to come up with a new price.
✅ Installation of Students' Villa Transformer: Materials needed for this are: armoured cables, oil etc. as a matter of urgency, the Landlords/landladies agree to source for fund and install the transformer before school resumes.
✅ Landlords/landladies - management - students rapport: The Landlords/landladies pleaded with the Dean and the SUG President to preach cordial relationship with management and students (tenants) respectively.
